Hi all!
It’s been a hot minute since I published a favourites post and I have a LOT of product / things I’ve been loving that I’m excited to share with you all so let’s dive in!
BEAUTY
Kiehl’s Ultra Moisturizing Face Cream
I’ve talked about this before but after taking some lifestyle images for Keihl’s for their holiday campaign I’ve re-fallen in love with this cream. No matter what others I try, I always go back to this one. My skin is super sensitive and I’ve never had any issues with this cream for breakouts or irritation. My ride of die eye cream right here guys!

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Serum
I wish I could lather this all over my body. The lavender smell is so soothing and relaxing for the end of a long day. It immediately calms me and soothes my skin. I love serums – this is definitely in my top 5 (maybe even top 2). Everyone I’ve met who has tried this one loves it. I also just finished their day serum and need to go buy another asap.

Marc Jacobs Mascara
My second favourite mascara after Better than Sex by Urban Decay. I actually love layering the two and noticed I do it every time. When I don’t use this one I feel I dont’ get that extra length and oomph! Thank you to the MJ beauty team for sending this one to me (plus its personalized!)

Glamglow Mask
I could sit here and say I always take 5 min for my nighttime routine but reality most nights I pass out with J in bed around 8:30 and once I transfer him to his crib most of my energy is gone. After 2-3 days not doing my nightime routine my skin is screaming for some TLC – I start with this mask always – my skin feels soft and renewed every time. Its my quick fix to get my skin back on track and feeling good especially before a night out!

NARS Creamy concealer
Since our Greece trip back in September this has been my go-to everyday. I also stopped wearing foundation so every time you see me in photos or on Instagram stories that just this concealer under my eyes, around my nose and other red spots (chin + forehead) blended out. If you’re looking to try a new concealer – look no further you found it! Though Ive stopped wearing foundation they did just release this in a foundation formula and I’m curious to give it a go!

WELLNESS
Silk’s Coconut Milk
You might remember around Christmas I had to go on voice rest. My body was producing a ton of phlegm and turns out I had a very unhealthy gut. I may go into detail in another blog post but all in all I went to see a naturopath and was instructed to get rid of dairy immediately (later I also had to cut out gluten as well). Ive been dairy free for 6 weeks and I cannot tell you how good Ive been feeling. I still need to scale out the sugar (working on it!) BUT the hardest part of all this was the coffee! I tried everything and finally found this coconut milk that tastes the best!

Humidifier
Another non-negotiable change I needed was to get a humidifier and use it every night. If you live in a condo you’ll know how awful the air quality is so adding this moisture to the air overnight has also been a monumental in me waking up feeling good vs. a lizard in the dessert. I love this hippo one we got for J!

Five Minute Journal
I bought this over a year ago and stopped using it for a while, I recently starting taking it out again and its been very helpful in getting my day started on a good foot with the right mindset. I quickly forces you to write down not only what you’re grateful for but what would made this day great. I love that it quickly aligns me and gives me focus as I enter my day. This would also be a perfect gift for someone you love – or for you to do with your girlfriends!

Nordstrom PJs
If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know how much I raved about these back in December. You guys, they are my favourite I went and bought the teeshirt and shorts version too. Ive never owned a pair of PJs that were so buttery soft and breathable! I’ve always been one of those people who never wear matching pjs, I just grab the most mis-matched comfortable lose clothing (usually ko’s) and jump into bed. Its a treat for me to look and feel cute and put together at bed time!

Ohhio Knit Blue Blanket
Everyone, meet charolette! Yes – we named our blanket. Yes – I did a poll on my Instagram stories and this is the name that won! I had my eye on this blanket for months and finally made the purchase during their black friday sale. It is delicate and I call it Moms blanket (ie: no husbands or babies allowed). I keep in on this chair and I usually sit and wrap myself in it like a burrito. So cozy!

My new Hair!
Last month I did something I had never done before – colour my hair! I went to my lifelong friend Manny who is incredible talented. He added in colour underneath to bring out my natural hi lights. I’m obsessed and looking forward to going back to getting more in the summer!

Day Designer
I wanted to switch up my planner this year and had my eye on trying out the Day Designer. I love the black and white stripes design but more importantly what I’m really loving is that on each day at the top of the page it has a section for 3 of the most important things to do that day. Being a working mom prioritizing and working efficiently is key so this helps keep me focused and on track.

New Pens
I can’t resist buying new pens, by now ya’ll know that about me right? I found these at Indigo and loved how soft they were and they write even better! They come in a bunch of different colours and they look cute in photos too (ha!). My aunt also surprised me with a just because gift which was this set that cute phrases on the ones which write equally amazing! Indigo’s become my go-to for desktop accessories!

Flower Spiral Notebook
Along with my planner I always have a spiral notebook with me everywhere I go. I have this one in the small version and now use this one for my large notebook. This might sound weird to those of you who aren’t a bit crazy about pens and notebooks but I love these notebooks because of how the paper feels (comment below if you know what I mean, haha).

Tim Walker Coffee Table Book
You may remember me geeking out over this book on my stories. Tim Walker was one of the first photographers to inspire me. I love that his beautiful magical and surreal photographs are actual sets he and his team builds (vs photoshop). Every time I flip open the book it inspires me to think outside the box on how to approach my photography.

24-70mm Lens
As I write this now I just realized I have never done a whats in my camera bag post?! I’ll add it to the que. This is my go-to lens when I’m creating blog content, personal branding photos for clients or traveling. It’s versatile which I like and allows me to quickly go from a wide composition to a tight one. I like working quickly and sometimes you don’t have time to change lenses – the shot is gone (Especially when I’m capturing my little guy!)

Pop Socket
I’ve had this pop socket for months and after using Ko’s phone the other day which doesn’t have one I realized just how much I rely on it / helped my hand not cramp like a t-rex! This one here is so affordable!

LITTLES
Mini Souls Hat + Roots Sweater
I love both of these items. The mini souls hat is my absolutely favourite – we had one for when it was smaller as well. I love that its a local small business too! The Roots sweater is just plain adorable! I remember wearing these hoodies growing up – there was something about seeing him in a hoodie that just made him look so much older. My sweet baby!

Bugaboo Muff
I love my bugaboo so much. I love the blue colour, I love how it feels and moves. This muff has been a life saver last winter and this winter as well. Moving J from the car to whenever we have to go is so easy since this keeps him nice and cozy! (plus it looks cute too!)

Play Kitchen
Are you seeing a pattern of my favourite colour I’m imposing on my son? Haha. My first question when getting anything is “what colours does it come in?” I was so excited when I found a blue toy kitchen. My son now has my dream kitchen.
