#100hrs in London & Paris
In celebration of 100 years in the travel business, American Express helped Stephanie and I with planning an ideal 100 hour travel experience in London and Paris. We worked with their Amex Travel and Platinum Concierge team on curating the most amazing experience. They knew exactly what to recommend from restaurants to hotels in the best locations.
Come along & experience our 100 hours in London & Paris!
Excited about line by-pass…I adore traveling with this one right here!
As soon as we arrived at Toronto Pearson the fun began. When traveling, I always feel a bit anxious until I’ve passed security. I think something virtually everyone has in common is how much we dislike waiting in line ups. By showing our Amex Platinum Cards, we were able to quickly by-pass the long security line and use the much shorter priority security line instead. I felt so at ease and relaxed…okay who am I kidding I was so excited by this! Something so small like skipping a line made such a difference.
Above relaxing with Free Wi-Fi & a Latte in the Plaza Premium Lounge
Once we swiftly made it through security we got settled into the lounge, we logged onto the Entertainment on Cloud 10 portal to explore this month’s books & songs, which were easily available for download. What’s more, there is complimentary Wi-Fi for all airport guests throughout the entire airport!
Check out all the benefits Cloud 10 has to offer.
Hello London!
The Laslett Hotelin Notting Hill
Thanks to the Amex Travel Team we scored the cutest hotel right in the heart of my favourite neighbourhood in London, Notting Hill! It was quaint, elegant and delightful.
Stephanie & I on the London Eye. Such a fun way to see all of London!
There wasn’t much time to rest before we got glammed up for an eventful evening out! Thanks to Amex Invites, we had access to a pre-film gala and walked the red carpet. We even caught a glimpse of the beautiful Cate Blanchett from afar! Following that, we had full access to the film premiere after party. This was such a cool experience.
Walking along Portobello Road
You can’t go to London without enjoying high tea and the Platinum Concierge booked us the most incredible Mad Hatter’s High Tea experience! They thought of everything and made even the ordinary task of selecting a tea flavour to drink a fun experience…just like “Wonderland” I enjoyed every minute of this…
Post High Tea exploring at Liberty London…
As if high tea wasn’t enough, thanks to the Concierge, we got reservations for dinner at Sketch! We were so excited after seeing so many posts online and hearing so many wonderful things about this place and I must say it did not disappoint! From hop-scotch in the entry way, the most hilarious and intriguing bathrooms I’ve ever seen to the main attraction…the beautiful pink dining area. This was the perfect ending to a beautiful day!
Bonjour Paris!
We had 24 hours to enjoy Paris, I was so thrilled to be back in my favourite city and was equally as excited that it was Stephanie’s first time there! Though it was raining, we didn’t mind one bit. Even in the rain, we still loved Paris. Our first stop was to Laduree on the Champs-Elysees for a quick breakfast & fuel up after our train ride in.
We took our macarons to go & headed through the Jardin des Tuileries for a stroll…
Of course, we had to make a quick stop at Palais Royal for a must photo op 🙂
Finally, after spending the day exploring Paris we made it back to our hotel (which was yet again another incredible find by the Amex Travel Team) the beautiful Hotel Vernet right off the Champs-Elysées!
There are very few things I love more than a beautiful Parisian balcony & twining with your bestie
On our last evening we rode along the Seine on a champagne river cruise, we docked just in time to see the Eiffel Tower light up and sparkle…it was a perfect ending to a wonderful #100Hours

Hello Beautiful,
First off let me say that I live, love your style…writing and otherwise. You evoke such a sense of happiness and class in all that you do!
Thanks to this post, I have put The Laslett, The Sanderson Mad Hatters Tea and the Nottinghill neighborhood on my bucket list.
I will be traveling to Poland and Greece in May and would love your advise on what and how to pack…including what camera (if I only bring one) should I choose.
I know your a busy gal, but hope you find a moment to reply and strike up correspondence.
Sincerely,
Anastasia Stavros-Domagala
