Mothers Day Gift Guide

Since becoming a mother there has been a lot of moments where I’ve felt surprised by how I felt about certain things surrounding motherhood and raising a little one.  Things I once felt so sure we’d do – we never did – things I swore we’d never do (*ahem* no sleeping in our bed) we did all the time.  I’ve heard myself saying to close friends I feel motherhood in a lot of was is very humbling.  I’m building more patience (something that has never been my strong suit) every day and learning for the first time what it means to really go with the flow and not be in total control.

I didn’t think I’d get all sentimental around ‘Mothers Day’ but as it turns out (another surprise) I’ve caught my mind wandering off a few times a day thinking (and getting choked up) about what it means to be a ‘mother’.  I’m so grateful for my my own mother, my mother in law, my godmother my grandmothers.  I’ve been blessed with some pretty strong and incredible women and Ive been feeling extra grateful for their influence on my life.

Here are a few of my favourite things for the mothers and mother-figures in your life!
